Dr Mark Webb introducing the Medieval Coventry conference at the Old Grammar School, September 2018

Held at the Old Grammar School and St Mary’s Hall, our Medieval Coventry conference on 29th September 2017 attracted over 100 people.

Eleven senior academics from across the UK and further afield gave talks based on original research about Coventry’s development during the Middle Ages.

Key medieval documents such as the Charter of Incorporation, the weaver’s pageant and the Leet Book were on display for delegates to view.

The proceedings were recorded and will soon be available on video.

We are grateful for the generous support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, Culture Coventry and those who donated on the day.
